I was reading about your leCruset pan and noticed your comments about your Dormeyer mixer. Would you like a working mixer? I’ve had to clean out my lake house and it was the mixer used for many years. By the way did they replace your pan? I have one fourty plus years old my grandmother gave me….when I was just starting to cook….in third grade.
They replaced the pan no questions asked. Awesome customer service. Thanks for your kind and generous offer but I replaced the old and much loved mixer with a KitchenAid a few years ago. You should save it and use it yourself. It’s a wonderful mixer and, just like you, I have terrific memories attached to it.
I’ve actually had my KitchenAid since high school…I graduated in 1981…. It’s actually been with me longer. I’ll try tp sell it for a few dollars at my garage sale next week. I used it at my lake house for years, but we no longer have that anymore. You just had such wonderful memories, and it touched me.
